TechAcme is a annual Techno-Cultural Fest of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology that comprised of events covering diversified arenas of culture, technology and art. TechACME2k23 included various fascinating technical events like LAN Gaming, RoboRace, Talent Start Light, Assemble Disassemble, Project Presentation, Circuit designing Traditional Fashion Show and many more. The grand fiesta evening by Rashmeet Kaur , the celebrity singer, mesmerized the gathering of more than 2500 audience with her songs. Knowledge exchange, fun and experiential learning happened throughout at large scale. The inaugural ceremony of Tech Acme took place on 6 April’23, in the OIST Auditorium. The programme was successfully conducted under the chief hospitality of Prof(Dr.) Sunil Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal along with Guest of honour, Dr. Shrikant Patil, MD, CRISP, Bhopal. The program witnessed the gracious presence of Shri Jaywardhan Joshi, Co-Convenor, Professional Cell BJP, Shri Praveen Thakral, Chairman, Oriental Group of Institutes.
ACM Annual Event for the year 2023 was hosted by the Oriental Institute of Science & Technology, Bhopal, on the 11th of February 2023. ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery is the world’s largest educational and scientific society, uniting computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field’s challenges. ACM recognizes excellence in computer science and information technology through a host of prestigious awards, including the Turing Award (aka Nobel Prize in Computing). ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and professional networking. ARCS 2023 and the ACM-W India Decade Celebration event were co-located with ACM India annual event.
The Institution’s Innovation Council, Regional Meet-2022, funded by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell & AICTE Government of India, was organized by Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal in the picturesque site and Blossoming Green Environment, Aesthetically & Professionally designed contemporary buildings, Serene atmosphere ideally suited for this Regional meet on 22nd July, 2022 with full Zeal & Enthusiasm.
This meet was the platform to make the IIC network more vibrant, proactive, collaborative and productive by bringing the existing and prospective IIC Institutions of Central India together. Institutes who are already having IIC cells, they shared their knowledge and best practices through Poster Gallery with others and celebrate the achievements and impact created by them. The event was also witnesses the successful emergence of innovators and start-up founders by displaying their products in Innovation Stalls. Apart from this various technical tracks and Round Table Interaction Session were held to strengthen the Startup & Innovation Ecosystem.
The 4th International Conference on Data, Engineering and Applications 2022 (IDEA-2k22) is being organized during Dec 23-24, 2022 by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and Oriental Institute of Science & Technology in Bhopal. IDEA-2k22 is the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Big Data, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Data Science and their associated learning systems and applications. The conference will bring together leading academician, scientists, expert from industry and researchers in the domain of interest from around the world. The Keynote talks will be delivered by Internationally renowned experts. Contributions from researchers describing their original, unpublished, research contribution which is not currently under review by another conference or journals. Select papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume.
Department of Civil Engineering, Oriental Institute of Science and Technology Bhopal, has organized Springer-International conference on "Recent Advancements in Civil Engineering" - RACE 2k22 on October 14- 15. It was inaugurated by Dr Neeraj Saxena, Advisor- I AICTE, New Delhi. 80 papers were presented in 09 technical sessions.
