The Department of IT, OIST, Bhopal, organised an industrial visit to IMD, Bhopal, for sixth-semester students on February 15, 2024. This visit aimed to provide students with insight into the vibrant research environment of IMD and create a platform for them to understand the impactful applications of science and technology in various fields. 

The industrial visit is very helpful in our future practical lives and brings a positive change in our thinking and practical behaviour regarding education and specialisation in technical skills. We gained knowledge about different types of methods and sensors used by the meteorological department to collect and forecast weather-related data.
