Master of Pharmacy is a post graduate academic degree which is awarded for a course or a programme in field of Pharmacy. The duration of master degree in Pharmacy is 2 years (4 semesters). Students are required to submit the thesis in last semester. It provide the degree in various discipline.
Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Pharmacy or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institute with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible for admission.
Medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry are disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where they are involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules.
