Team "Vikrant," OIST Bhopal, consisting of fourteen students of the Automobile and Mechanical Engineering department, participated in the Go-kart Design Challenge championship held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. 

The team secured 9th place out of the 100+ teams that participated in the championship. The performance of the designed and fabricated go-kart vehicle was excellent, and it achieved a top speed of 80 kmph with a minimum gross weight of 113 kg.
