Flip Classes" to mark Teachers' day at Oriental yes
This Teachers' day was celebrated at Oriental College of Technology in a different, yet constructive way. The occasion was marked with conducting "Flip Classes" for all Engineering students of the college. Flipped learning is a pedagogical approach in which the conventional notion of classroom-based learning is inverted, so that students are introduced to the learning material before class, with classroom time then being used to deepen understanding through discussion with peers and problem-solving activities facilitated. As mentioned by a first year Engineering student, this was a unique experience and interesting way of better learning. The students not only got deep understanding of the topics, but also enjoyed the Flip Classes during the day.

An Expert Lecture was organized by Basic Sciences Department for BTech First year students on "Application of Power Series Method in Engineering" by Dr K R Pardarsani, Professor and Head Mathematics department MANIT Bhopal.
