A 3 days technical event “Tech Fizz-2K17” started in Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal from 11th April 2017




Oriental College of Technology Bhopal organized the valedictory of 3 days techno-cultural event "TECH FIZZ 2K17" on 11th April -13th April 2017 in the Oriental Campus. The event was graced by   the Chief guest Dr. C.K. Patil, Director General, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology.

He appreciated the performance given by the students of Oriental College of Technology which showed the glimpses of Indian values and culture.

The event was also blessed with the benign presence of Shri Prasanna Sharma, Convener of SRIJAN- a venture of technical paper presentation and innovative model making, organized by "Sister Nivedita Takniki Shiksha Samiti, Bhopal" and co-organized by "MP Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal".

Oriental College of Technology has been selected as the zonal centre for "Technical Projects Presentation". This three days event has been talk of the Town since last one month. This year in Techfizz 2017, total 45 events are conducted under Techno, Cultural & Sports activities.

D.J. ZIYA gave a scintillating performance at D.J Night which was accompanied by Fashion show and Rock Band APRICOT which kept the students and visitors captivated and mesmerized.  

Techfizz of Oriental College of Technology has now grown into Central India's renowned Techno, Cultural & Sports festival. The buzzed campus of OCT registered a participation of huge number of student from different colleges of state with footfall of more than 12000 students from states as well as Nationwide in its premise during festival.

In this various technical events like Robo Race was organized .The first prize was given to the student of Patel College. First prize for C-Mania was won by Parul Shrivastava & Amrita Yadav of SISTEC.

Among various events sport competition was also the area of interest, in which cricket had major participation. Winner cash prize of cricket is Rs.5000/- and trophy and window 10 Key worth Rs.5000/- was given to both Winner and Runner. The winner for Basket Ball competition was given to students of JLU. The winner for Kho Kho competition was given to students of OCT.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Hon'ble Shri Praveen Thakral, Hon'ble Chairman,  Oriental Group of Institutes,  Mrs. Niraj Ghai, Chairperson, Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal, Prof. N. K. Mittal, Director (Planning and Development), Oriental Group of Institutes, Dr. N. K. Agarwal, Director, Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal has wished them all the best for successful participation. These efforts of the faculty and students have been highly appreciated by the Hon'ble Shri Praveen Thakral, Chairman Oriental Group of Institutes, Bhopal.
