Faculty Development Program at OIST Bhopal

A Faculty Development Program was conducted by the Department of Electronics and Communication on 23/01/17, on the use of Texas Instruments base UVA Launchpad Kits, for the purpose of Brainwave sensing and Internet of things applications.

The resource person was Mr Mrithyunjay Siv from Digital Shark Technologies, Bangalore on behalf of Texas Instruments, India. This 3- hr FDP consisted of hands-on sessions on the TI UVA Launchpad kits of MSP430 and C series, wherein everybody understood the interfacing aspects of the card for Internet of things applications.

The workshop was attended by the faculty of Electronics and Communication and also by the students of MTech III sem (DC). The objective behind the Training was to train the faculty to have a complete understanding of these high end boards, so that they can eventually train students to use these boards for Research Projects and Industrial applications.
